Flora Parisky has been taking fine art photographs of travels in Europe, the Western United States, the Caribbean and China since 1962 with standard SLR cameras, and sometimes—acceding to the philosophy that “the best camera is the one you have with you”—her iPhone.

Many of her photographs have been included in juried shows and exhibits sponsored by the West Hartford and Windsor Art Leagues. Her photographs were selected for inclusion in the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 CT + 5 and CT + 6 juried exhibitions open to artists in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and New York. A triptych of iPhone photos taken on the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park won an honorable mention in the 2010 Exposures Annual Open Juried Photography Exhibit. She was chosen as an Elected Artist to The West Hartford Art League in 2010.

She is a founding member of Visions: a gallery without walls.

A one-person retrospective, From the Four Corners to China, was held at the Simsbury Public Library (CT) during October 2010.

She was part of a two-person gallery exhibit at the Sandisfield Art Center in the Berkshires in 2009, and exhibited with the seven-person Visions Group at the Pearl Street Gallery in July 2010, Design Source Connecticut from 2010 to 2011, and the Spring Charity Show for Jubilee House in March 2011.
